The Minnesota Golf Association is expanding on a popular program introduced last year. Last fall I played in the inaugural MGA Associate Members Day at Rochester Golf and Country Club. The format was great–you played your own ball and there was no handicap limit. You must be an MGA member with a GHIN number to play, but you can easily join a club without real estate if you don’t belong to a traditional club.

This year, they are expanding the program to four courses around the state: St. Cloud Country Club (June 26), Hillcrest Golf Club of St. Paul (July 31), Northland Country Club in Duluth (August 21) and Rochester Golf & Country Club (September 25). Costs for individuals range from $60-$80, depending on the course. This is a great way for people to play nice courses they may not otherwise have access to play…DK

Today is the official site launch of 7 Minute Miles–my personal site for sharing news with family and friends, improving my writing skills (hopefully), testing new web technologies and discussing various topics I find interesting.
