Changes at the Hard Rock Vegas
Almost one year ago, I was in Las Vegas for business and stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It’s been one of my favorite places to stay and they were taking deposits on a condo expansion that looked really nice. The prices were high, but the sales rep I talked to said they had sold most of the project.
I hadn’t heard much about construction progress, so I did a little digging this week. Turns out all of the deposits have been returned and the fate of the expansion is unclear, as Peter Morton has sold the property to the Morgans Hotel Group of New York for $770 million. More info here:
