Following on the heals of the Golf Digest article we mentioned earlier this week, the August 9th issue of GolfWeek magazine contains a story by Martin Kaufmann that talks about golf on the Iron Range, covering The Legend and The Quarry at Giants Ridge, The Wilderness at Fortune Bay and Superior National in Lutsen.

The two page spread included quotes with Toney Curtis, owner of the famed Whistling Bird restaurant in Gilbert, course architect Jeff Brauer, Giants Ridge director of golf John Kendall and several others.

The story does not appear to be online at golfweek.com yet, but it’s well worth a read if you can find it.
