Yesterday I spent some time with our new golf general manager, Gabe Cessna, sitting in the new patio chairs under a bright sun that was hard at work melting snow on The Wilderness at Fortune Bay.

A great deal of progress was made last weekend, but it’s still looking like a May 17 opener. All of the greens are still covered and there are portions of the course with a fair amount of snow to melt. The tees that I saw today, though, looked wonderful.
