Today is April 15th, the first day of the season in Minnesota, according to the USGA. All scores have to be posted from today through October 15th if you have one of these cards.

To mark this date, we have decided to make today the “official” launch day for Golfing in Minnesota. While the site has been up and running for almost a year, it was never promoted in any real sense. That changes starting now. Please help spread the word by telling your golf friends about the site and subscribe to the site feed if you use a newsreader.

Here are some of the features that will be coming this year:

• Enhanced course listings
• Free listings for charity golf events
• Comprehensive golf store, instructor and practice facility databases
• Continued uploads of golf course photography from around the state

Golfing in Minnesota is also the first site in a new network of Minnesota lifestyle websites published by the MN Publishing Company. Watch for more announcements to come later this year…
