I haven’t really followed a formal marathon training plan since I ran my first one a long, long time ago. I saw this one, though, in a recent Runner’s World magazine and decided I’d give it a try.
The plan gives me Mondays and Thursday off, which is usually when I commute, so that’s perfect. The long runs stay on Sundays, but I can swap those to Saturday as needed and I’m sure I’ll throw in some mountain bike and golf cross-training too.
