When I received the email from Luci Ancora in St. Paul, I thought Chef Stephen Smith had read my mind when designing the menu:
Pizzeta with Apples & Gorgonzola
Insalata e Zuppa
Choice of Insalata Mista, Cesare, or Daily Soup
Roasted Porkloin with Fried Potato and Marinated Raddicchio
While I still prefer the original Ristorante Luci, Ancora has really grown on me. The dinner on Sunday was excellent, service was good and overall it was an excellent value. And oh that pizzeta!
Colleen switched her last course to fish (can’t remember what it was) and we both enjoyed some nice glasses of wine with the meal. Decided to skip dessert, as I’ve done plenty of snacking this post-marathon week.
