A week out is late, but was shocked to see the selection down to a half dozen trees at Lilydale Garden Center

They aren’t kidding about selling out before 3pm at Shotgun Willie’s in East Nashville – all that was left today was (tasty) brisket and chicken

Some of our favorite zoo experiences ever: Lorikeet Landing, feed the flamingos and the return of meerkats were all very fun

Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Nashville spot in our hotel was very good (and very reasonable)

Will post more pictures from here when we get back – really cool to see all that fun stuff

Took the gang to the 2022 James Beard Best New Restaurant. Bison ribeye, half duck, three sisters stew, antelope spoonbread, hand harvested wild rice, fish cakes, sofkee, tepary bean dip, elk beans, pawpaw custard and wild rice pudding 💜

Found a new work bag at Frost River, got caramel apples at the candy store, bought some seasonal decorations at the Christmas farmer’s market and stopped in to see LK

Dinner at the OG Centro with SK, followed by a visit to see my old friend Peter Pup Snoliver

Happy kid today (new phone + new watch), plus a look back at 2019, 2016 and 2013. I spoil my kids just like my mom did 💜
