Landed safely at LAS – let’s see how long it takes to get downtown

Downtown Vegas is both awesome and creepy at the same time – up a whopping $35 and having breakfast at 3:15am

Get to hang out in the coroner convention cabana at the Golden Nugget pool – actually much, much better than it sounds

Just played an hour of blackjack with a Hawaiian cowboy who split 10s four times straight (in one deal)

Accidentally played one hand of 100-hand video poker at max bet 5-cent denom ($25) and was, of course, dealt total crap

Sorta bored by the gaming floor at Mandalay – early bedtime in Vegas as the winds howl 34 floors up

Bellagio is still the best

But Cosmo is the best of new Vegas

Hard to keep up with Twitter on vacation (plus iPhone battery doesn’t last all day). Lots of trip stuff on 7minutemiles.com

A tad warm 8.7 mile run up and down the strip – Mandalay to Stratosphere

Quick movie break on the strip – air conditioning, get to sit down and it’s way cheaper than the casino floor

One last dinner in Vegas before heading for the red eye

For a restaurant open a week, Lindse at Pub 1842 pretty much killed it

The Spirit Airlines experiment is over – 4+ hours delayed on this segment too. Never again…

You know it’s bad when the TSA agent tells you how bad your airline sucks at service

Suck day update: had oil and filter changes on the Fit today and now the AC doesn’t work

I had my doubts, but finally made it to Waterford, Wisconsin – time to catch up on sleep
