Really missed Black Orchid, but got my first bingo, observed the progress on #18 (and the new Mesa practice area), returned to the Meadows Bar and Grill for an amazing apple pecan salad, hit all my favorites at the Minnehaha Cafe and had success on several other favorite slot machines. Absolutely perfect weather today (*finally*) for walking 18 holes at Ridges at Sand Creek. Shot 87 from the whites and saw lots of turtles and birds also enjoying the nice weather

My body hates me now, but ran my 22nd straight Get in Gear 10K in 1:11:39, then walked 18 holes at Faribault Golf Club
It was 32F with a little snow and wind at the beginning of our round today @ Gross National in Minneapolis – shot an 82 from the combo tees (with a “two-putt-max” rule in effect due to the rough and shaggy greens)
That was a great game of golf, fellas. Let’s go have a Coca-Cola…
Multiple days of sun and 80s, but we waited until it was cold and rainy to kick off the new golf season – very rusty 86 from the “Bluff” tees

Today the Pioneer Press published Shooter’s column, which contained the following:
— Jeff Sorenson, the teaching pro at Minikahda Country Club, won his 157th golf tournament the other day, the Calloway Pebble Beach ProAm.
Jeff is a great guy, winning the Tapemark in 2009. But so far, I can find no proof of this tournament win online. Assuming this is a different event from the famous Pebble Beach tournament, but I would love to know what really happened.
