Nice lightning storm moving across the Range right now
Mental health day: golf and gambling, but not together (shot 89 at The Wilderness, driving to Black Bear)
This time I’ll read a couple reviews and backup before taking the leap into Mountain Lion
Oh great, Paul Revere and the Raiders most popular song is called “Indian Reservation?”
Target run due to my lack of packing skills, then an easy 3 miles on Echo Point
I wish my revenue and net income were “only” up 20%
What language are the tears when they’re fallin’ from your eyes?

Finishing the last load of laundry at 10:30PM – why do I let it pile up so high?
Week one of the Runner’s World training guide that I mentioned here is now in the books. The 25 miles seemed pretty light, but I don’t want to rush things and get hurt again, so I just stuck to what they said to do. The second week is almost exactly the same, so it should be smooth-sailing for now.
The knee seems to be mostly back to normal, but the heels continue to hurt a little. I put the longer shoe laces back on the Kinvaras, as the Boston ones kept coming untied. I also tried the new lacing method Jake referred me to (see here) and it does seem to improve blood circulation. My shins were also a little sore today at the end of nine, but they are fine now.
Happy (and very thankful) to be building up the mileage chart again!
Though we’ll always be apart, locked forever in a dream…
I don’t feel that bad for Adam Scott – he probably just made more money than I’ll see in 10 years. For playing golf.
Go Ernie Go!
